Why didn’t Islam free slaves in one step?

We said that Islam concerned in all its orders with gradual changes, as it is the wise religion prevailed by the wise prophet (pbuh) and its principles came from Allah, The All Wise and The All Knower.
Allah knows that human nature originated in people is hard to be changed in one step.
As slavery was something originated in Arabs and in the whole world, Islam came with mercy, so that people don’t run away from the orders of Allah, so it removed slavery in a gradual way until it is already removed totally and it is not in Islamic counties or the whole world anymore due to what came in Islam and by the prophet (pbuh).
